I first met Emily in FB when she asked on 1 of the bridal pages for a photographer. James was heading off to join the army, and their budget was very tight and because of that they decided to elope.

I replied to Emily on both the open wall and in PM with an offer of my services, and I was thrilled when they accepted my offer. The day arrived so quickly and mother nature was not kind at all, the wind was howling down the inner city streets of Brisbane and everyone was freezing - but that didn't dampen our excitement or enthusiasim.

Emily and James were eleated when Emily's dad hired a videographer to also capture their day. The ceremony was brief, but beautiful. Afterwards we headed out into the freezing cold - with the bride in a short lace dress it wasn't long before she looked and felt like an ice cube.

After almost 3 hours of photographing and videoing out in the cold we all called it a day and we headed back so Emily could defrost and get warm again.

It was a day I will never forget, and I'm sure Emily and James won't forget either.
