Mother nature isn't always kind when it comes to weddings and this wedding was about to be hit with a torrential down pour the night before .....

In the early hours of the morning on the 1st April, 2015 mother nature unleased an absolute torrent of rain. As my bride and groom were eloping with the ceremony at their house, I was a little worried about the pictures - with everything so wet and water running every where it almost seemed impossible ...

The ceremony went off without a hitch, and we headed out into the back yard which was perfect for photos - apart from the water and odd drizzle of rain ... finally in desperation I took my shoes off and walked around bare foot and the bride wore gum boots!

It was a lovely day filled of lots of emotions.
